Continuing to have fun with the flower form, I was intrigued to see how it would look in silver.
I created the forms in the same way as working them in copper.
I wanted to see what they would look like with enamel. I had never enamelled on silver before, so I had play with opaque and transparent colours. I thought these forms were really fun with the added splash of colour, I thought they would be interesting set in rings.
(ooops blurry picture)
I created a claw setting for the form and soldered a ring band to it made which I fabricated from 2mm silver wire.
I enjoyed creating this piece. This is a big ring, perhaps not wearable for many, but it was a good project to practise my skills and to expand my knowledge on enamelling on other materials.
