The Guild of Enamellers Bursary Award

This morning I received an email from my tutor with details about The Guild of Enamellers Bursary Award.
I'd come across it before as I am an avid reader of Craft and Design magazine and they always feature the winner and the runners up. By the way on that subject, check out last years winner Scarlett Cohen-French, me oh my, her work is stunning, the win was well deserved.

Having used enamel extensively in my last assignment, and actually it features on pretty much every thing I've made in my 2nd year, I was interested in applying for the award.
I am very interested in pursuing the technique of enamelling, as I feel I have only scratched the surface of what it can do for my work, and so the Bursary Award would be incredibly beneficial to me.
I've never been one to be put off by how great other makers are, instead I find it inspiring to take the leap.
In fact I have found that point of view to be beneficial in the past, I sent off one of my beaded creations to Lark Books, and low and behold it was accepted into the book.
Nothing ventured;
Nothing gained.

And so with that in mind I decided to apply, these are the pieces I have submitted...

Closing date is 31st July.
Wish me luck
